Spring is officially here. It’s time to open the windows, and let sweet music fill the air. A friend introduced me to the band, Elephant Revival recently, and I have fallen in love. Their raspy folk sound is perfect for Spring! They were recently playing at a festival in Suwannee, near where I live- but I wasn’t able to go see them. If you enjoy light, folk music that makes you feel like laying in the grass with the sun in your face- check out their video for yourself.

Tunesday Tuesdays

I listen to music day in and day out. It is so much more inspiring than watching TV, and can totally change your mood. That being said, I really enjoy finding out about new awesome Artist. My best friend from home, Adrienne recently showed me the Texas born Artist, Gary Clark Jr. I have no clue how I never heard of him before, because music is amazing and the perfect tunes to listen to while I write, paint, read or anything else that my day consists of. His music to me, is like soulful Rock with some Jazz and even R&B influences. Not to mention his raspy voice and awesome style. You just have to hear it for yourself!

Tunesday Tuesdays

A little music for you all this morning! I started listening to Brazilian artist Céu last year when a new travel friend showed me her music in Montanita. Although she sings in Portuguese, and I can barely understand a word she is saying; I am like hypnotized.  Her voice is so soothing and the way Portuguese just rolls off the tongue is beautiful. It is perfect morning music, or when you are trying to study or paint and just need a little something to inspire you.  So, enjoy!
